As we settle into our winter schedule, sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace, let’s keep worship a high priority. Kids Need Worship. DiscipleLand’s newsletter says that “God made people for the express purpose of worshipping Him. Worship is our primary purpose in life-not an optional activity each week to endure or to enjoy. Worship means “worth-ship.” We give God special devotion and honor because He is worth-y of worship. The better you know Him, the more heartfelt your worship. Shallow understanding of God’s character leads to superficial worship. Deep understanding of God’s qualities opens the door to wholehearted worship.”
Sunday School resumes January 10. Children’s Sunday School classes will be starting new books. Regular attendance is helpful for consistent learning. The kids are also fellowshipping and growing more intimate in their relationships with their teacher and classmates.
